About us

Oh, Doctor! Designs is the creation of ceramic artist Olivia Hamilton (that's me!).

I draw inspiration from my local environment, as well as from my experiences with chronic illness and neurodivergence. My goal is to provide products imbued with care, comfort, and humour, creating small moments of joy for my customers.

Every ceramic item is hand-made in my home studio in the beautiful Port Stephens area of New South Wales. I'm currently working on new products for next year, but in the meantime, you can find my ceramics in-person (see the announcements bar at the top of the page for more info!).

My artwork includes drawings of the landscape where I live, abstracts and everyday objects, and commentary on chronic illness, disability, and neurodivergence. These designs are printed onto clothing and accessories using a print-on-demand supplier. Printing on demand reduces waste, as each product is only finished after it has been ordered. It also reduces my workload, meaning that I can stay within my energy limits and continue making and designing my products for your enjoyment.
